The stickfight.net website (the "Site") contains original content from private individuals that are associated with stickfight.net, as well as material derived from other sources, including the general public, and is presented "as is" with no warranties or guarantees of any kind (either expressed or implied).


All content included on the Site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of stickfight.net or its content suppliers and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws unless otherwise specified. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all content on this site is the exclusive property of stickfight.net and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All software used on this site is the property of stickfight.net or its software suppliers and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You agree through your usage of this site to not post, email, upload, transmit, or otherwise send or make available any file, data, images, information or content for which you do not have the legal rights to.


Before utilizing the Site fully, a registration process must be completed in which the user may choose to provide to stickfight.net a valid email address. This email address is used to notify the user of changes to stickfight.net or for account information such as notification of termination or password requests, among other things. The user agrees to accept responsibility for their account and password, and agrees not to share their account or password information. User accepts full responsibility for all activities that occur under user's account or password. The Site agrees not to give, sell, or trade the user's personal information or email address to any third parties as per our extensive privacy policy.


All original content published on the Site by staff, registered users, guests or any other person or organisation, is owned by the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, private messages and chatboard content. Email sent to the Site staff as well as any solicited or unsolicited submissions of any kind become the exclusive property of the Site, and stickfight.net may use the material in any way it chooses without providing any compensation, credit or notice to you.


You (the "User") agree not to:

a. post, email, upload, transmit, or otherwise send or make available any file, data, images, information or content that is abusive, harassing, harmful, obscene, defamatory, racist, slanderous or libelous.

b. utilize Site resources, including but not limited to the chatboard and the private messaging system, to promote other websites not related to stickfight.net unless otherwise permitted (such as in the case of text or banner advertising.)

c. use excessive vulgar language in the chatboard. A "common sense" rule is in effect, which allows for minor amounts of swearing if and where appropriate, at the discretion of the stickfight.net staff.

d. disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or conversation within the chatboard.

e. collect or store personal information about other users or accounts, including but not limited to email addresses of registered Site members.

f. impersonate any living or deceased person or entity, especially Elvis, who I am not a fan of.

g. intentionally or unintentionally violate any law passed by any local or state governments within the United States of America, or federal laws passed by the government of the United States, or any national or international laws passed by any government recognised by the United States of America.

h. interfere with the Site's servers or network connection in any way, lawful or otherwise.

i. inflate your amount of xp by cheating, which includes, but is not limited to, challenging yourself with multiple accounts, and colluding with other users to produce fights in which moves are decided upon beforehand. The same is applicable if you intentionally take advantage of repetitious fights by another user. Users caught doing so will have their accounts xp reset and may additionally be banned, at the discretion of the Site administrators.

j. send repetitious fights to users.

User agrees that any violation of the Acceptable Usage Policy constitutes a breach of the agreement between the Site and the user, and the Site may delete any offending postings, messages, or submissions, to any part of the Site, as well as suspend or terminate the offending user's membership or account.


User agrees that the Site staff may suspend or terminate any user membership or account for any reason it sees fit without explanation, warranty or notice. Further, user agrees that the Site shall not be held liable to the user or any third-party for any termination of your access to stickfight.net. All monetary contributions, in the form of subscriptions or one-off payments, are non-refundable except under special circumstances, determined solely by the Site administrators.


These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and stickfight.net, and supersedes all other agreements whether written or oral. Should any part of the Terms of Service be found to be contrary to the law, all other aspects of the Terms of Service shall remain in full force and effect.


You agree, through your usage of the Site, to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless stickfight.net, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, affiliates, and licensees from and against any claims, actions, or demands, liabilities, damages, and settlements (including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees and litigation expenses) resulting from, or alleged to result from, your violation of these Terms of Service or relating to or arising from your use of the Site and any products or services obtained on or through the Site.


So, basically, what we're trying to say is: don't mess about. Don't cause problems for users or the staff. Don't make yourself unwelcome on stickfight. It's just a game.
